confirmar que es correcto el mensaje que se

Conclusiones
Esta revolución tecnológica ha cambiado la
historia natural de muchas enfermedades
que se pueden diagnosticar antes y con
mayor precisión y mejorar los tratamientos
a medida que avanzan. Común a estas tec-
nologías es el procesamiento de imágenes
por computadora; las consecuencias son in-
conmensurables. Las herramientas, tecnolo-
gías y capacidades no deben ser fines en sí
mismos, sino medios para que los médicos
realicen sus funciones sociales y científicas
de manera más eficaz y para fortalecer la
relación entre médicos y pacientes.
La bioética llama a reemplazar el pensa-
miento técnico por un pensamiento técni-
co más racional que tenga como objetivo
mantener una buena calidad de vida, evitar
riesgos para los pacientes, reducir el dolor
y restaurar la salud. El desafío bioético más
importante es lograr una medicina soste-
nible, consciente de sus limitaciones, que
brinde oportunidades justas y un compro-
miso creíble a sus practicantes y usuarios,
sin abandonar las exigencias inherentes al
progreso disciplinar.
La relación entre los profesionales radiólogos
y sus pacientes principalmente radica en los
estudios que se van a realizar. Sin embargo,
la responsabilidad medica no tiene diferencia
pues en todos los procedimientos debe exis-
tir la ética, la bioética y la corresponsabilidad.
El fin último del profesional en imágenes
médicas es brindar un procedimiento diag-
nóstico y un apoyo para las intervenciones
quirúrgicas sin que signifique un distancia-
miento en el que la maquina se interponga
entre las relaciones interpersonales, sobre
todo en estos tiempos en donde la Inteli-
gencia Artificial busca potenciar las áreas
en donde representa un avance beneficioso
para el colectivo y que al final resulte en un
tratamiento acorde a la búsqueda de la me-
