Análisis de la aplicación de la inteligencia artificial en la educación superior. Una revisión sistemática

El objetivo general de este estudio fue analizar las características, ventajas, desventajas y desafíos asociados con la implementación de la inteligencia artificial (IA) en la educación superior en el Ecuador. Se utilizó la metodología PRISMA para llevar a cabo una revisión sistemática de artículos académicos publicados en la base de datos Web of Science y Scopus. Se seleccionaron 32 estudios de acceso abierto que incluían palabras clave relacionadas con IA y educación superior, todos vinculados a instituciones universitarias. Los resultados mostraron que la integración de la IA ha mejorado significativamente los resultados educativos, optimizado la toma de decisiones y fortalecido los sistemas institucionales. Sin embargo, se identificaron barreras importantes como la falta de habilidades tecnológicas, infraestructura insuficiente, resistencia a abandonar métodos tradicionales y la complejidad del idioma árabe en el contexto educativo. Como conclusión, aunque las aplicaciones de IA presentan un gran potencial para transformar la educación superior en la región, su adopción plena requiere superar desafíos estructurales, tecnológicos y culturales. Se proponen futuras líneas de investigación para profundizar en soluciones que impulsen su implementación efectiva.Descargas
