Integración de herramientas digitales en la enseñanza de idiomas: una revisión sistemática

La rápida digitalización en el ámbito educativo ha llevado a un aumento en el uso de herramientas tecnológicas para la enseñanza de idiomas, pero para que su integración sea realmente efectiva, necesitamos contar con evidencia sólida. Esta revisión sistemática examina el impacto pedagógico de estas herramientas, identificando tendencias, desafíos y oportunidades para mejorar su uso en diferentes contextos educativos. Se utilizó la metodología PRISMA para analizar 46 estudios empíricos (2000-2025) que están indexados en Scopus, Web of Science y ERIC. Los criterios de inclusión abarcaron investigaciones cuantitativas, cualitativas y mixtas, evaluando herramientas como plataformas adaptativas, inteligencia artificial, gamificación y realidad virtual. La calidad de los artículos se validó siguiendo el protocolo CASPe. Los resultados muestran que las herramientas digitales aumentan notablemente la motivación (68% de los estudios) y la competencia comunicativa (54%), especialmente en entornos híbridos. Sin embargo, aún existen brechas en la formación docente (32% de los casos) y en el acceso equitativo (21%). La gamificación demostró tener el mayor impacto en el aprendizaje de vocabulario (ES = 0.87, p < 0.01), mientras que la inteligencia artificial facilitó la personalización. La integración estratégica de la tecnología en la enseñanza de idiomas requiere capacitación para los docentes, infraestructura adecuada y diseños pedagógicos que prioricen la equidad. Esta revisión ofrece un marco analítico para futuras investigaciones y políticas educativas, subrayando la importancia de equilibrar la innovación con la inclusión.Downloads
